Landon's Hospital Picture

Hey here is the picture that St. Bernards had posted on their website for all of you who did not get a chance to see it. I will probably only be on the site for a little while longer.

Landon goes back to Craighead Forrest

Landon along with some of his cousins, mom, dad, and mamaw went to Craighead Forrest. Mommy said that Landon enjoyed it a bit more today. He was awake and looked around. He is going to be 2 weeks old tomorrow.

Cute Picture

This is a picture of Landon after his first bath at home. It was taken on the first day Landon, Tammy and Eddie came home. Is he not the cutest baby you have ever seen.

Landon and Mom go to the Doctor

Today Landon was cleared from the doctor to stop the UV Blanket. He weighs 6.2 again. Tammy went to the doctor as well and was told that her blood pressure was good but that she might be having anxiety attacks. Probably from worrying about Landon so much. Anyway that was the happenings of the day.

Landon goes to Craighead Forrest

Today Landon, Mommy, Daddy and Auntie Stephy went to Craighead Forrest. It was very hot today so we did not get to stay long. We just figure that real UV rays will help more than the blanket. Anyway, Landon slept through it all so we will have to go again. He is such a cutie and everyday he looks even cuter. I will post some of those pictures from today just as soon as we get them downloaded into the computer.

Message from Auntie Stephy

Baby boy, Auntie loves you so much. There is not a minute in the day that goes by that I am not thinking about you. Our family is much more blessed with you in it. I could not love you any more than if you were my own baby boy. I love you and will always be there for you no matter what. Love, Auntie Stephy

Doctor's Visit For Landon

Landon is still a little jaudice but it is going down and he gained 8 ounces back, so he has to sleep in the UV blanket again tonight and 12 hours tomorrow. He goes back to the doctor on Thursday for a check up and hopefully he will get to leave the blanket. He is still a cutie and so lovable.

Newest Update

Landon went to the doctor yesterday for a check-up and was a little jaundice so the doctor sent him home with a UV Blanket. He laid on it all night long and his levels went from 17.1 to 12.2 overnight. The checked him again today and said he needs to stay in the blanket again tonight. He goes back to the doctor tomorrow so I will let you know the outcome of that. Everyone is doing great. Today being Easter, Tammy, Eddie, and Landon made a trip also to Mamaw and Papaw's house to hunt eggs. He is sleeping alot today so there was not much hunting on his part. Maybe next year. Any way home you all enjoy the newest pictures.

First Night

Everyone got a good nights rest. In fact Landon had to be woke up to eat during the night. All is great and the family is doing wonderful now that they are home. More to come.

Landon is Born

Once upon a time there was a woman and a man who loved each other so much. They wanted to share that love with everyone they met and to do that they decided to have a baby and share the baby with friends and family as proof of their love. After more than twelve years of trying they finally were blessed with the pregnancy of their first child. On April 10, 2006 at 5:23 PM that baby was born. His name is Landon Kirby Richards and he weighed 6 pounds and 2 ounces. He was 19 1/2 inches long. Landon is proof of God's existance because he is truly a miracle.
